The play that I have chosen to base my model box on is West Side Story. A Model box is a example of what the set will look like. One reason for a model box is when you take it to a director, the director can clearly see what the set will look like and if they don't like it well then it can easily be changed. Another reason why a model box is created is so the cast can see what the set will look like.
